He's the legendary QB
Of great gridiron wars won
With that of a rocket arm
And passion, the overwelming type
Which once helped him lead the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl win
But Brett Favre, please my man, stay retired
'Cause your glory days are over
Though you probably can still throw a perfect spiral 50 -plus yards in the air
Though you probably can still sidestep a raging defensive lineman
And do what you do
What you did for 16 seasons
Which is throw TD passes
Which is get a stadium filled with Cheeeseheads to get up and scream
But after 16 seasons and 61,655 yards passing yards, nine pro bowls
And, of course, that Super Bowl XXI win over the New England Patriots
Why, of why Brett, do you want to come back for - uh, a maybe not-so-hot season
When you can stay retired, your legacy in tact.

Obama for President
Obama, Obama
Yes, a change of pace and opinion
Of historical importance
Because the chances are high that he'll be our countries next president
So go Obama, go Obama
Tour the country, the world
Shake hands, rub shoulders, widely broadcast your thoughts
Then at the end, well ....
Just pray
Pray that tomorrow will be better than today
Pray that somehow, someway, someday
By the grace of God, and of course the American vote
The White House will have a black man in office.
